My latest project has been worked for the travelling exhibition above. The challenge was to use Wensleydale wool to produce a piece in our chosen medium. So, I spun principally Wensleydale tops and locks with elements of other wools, silk, bamboo, linen and rose fibres. Some of the fibres were then dyed, others left natural. A few were commercially dyed. The lace was worked freely with far too many of my large scale bobbins. More details of the piece will be added as it is exhibited.

The walking stick belonged to my maternal Grandma and was used for blackberry picking when I was a child!
