So much traffic including lots of tractors and planes, some very noisy, alternating with the peace of a perfect Norfolk day.
Beautiful blue sky, getting better all the walk: a fantastic day for walking.
Not flat Norfolk!
Lots of a very pleasant unidentified smell – couldn’t trace it!
Much varied birdsong, including what I am sure was a skylark or two.
Songs varied as we walked through different areas – wooded, fields, heath and marsh/pond.
up out of Cley along lanes as before but then to Salthouse Heath – fantastic gorse in full bloom. Lots of verdant grass and growing green crops.
Full Spring, bright sunshine, blue, blue sky.
Would War II gun emplacement in the middle of the heath overseeing the coast.
Down a steep slope to Salthouse, a bit of a scramble – flat Norfolk again!
Back to civilisation, well-to-do holiday homes hidden from the main road.
Into the church where there was a different atmosphere again – there was an art exhibition so the church was being used but not traditionally.
